2021 SALSA CRUISE ITINERARY

Dates: October 25 – November 1, 2021

Ship: MSC ARMONIA

*Flights should arrive on Sunday by 3:00 PM. Be checked in and onboard by 5:00 PM! We sail at 7:00 PM!

MSC CRUISE LINES SERVICE FEES

The MSC Cruise Line charges a mandatory, non-refundable service fee to all passengers for tips/gratuities for ship staff. This is not included in your cruise fare.

The current fee is $87.50 per guest ($12.50 per guest per day). This fee will be added to your onboard account by the cruise line when you board the ship.  This fee may change at the discretion of the cruise line.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE & PAYMENT PLANS

There are three payment plans available for Salsa Cruise guests! The date you make your reservation will ultimately determine your total deposit due at the time of booking and the subsequent payment dates.

PAY IN FULL

Receive 10% off for payment in full before taxes, if you book between 11/18/19- 11/29/19.  Receive 5% off for payment in full before taxes, if you book between 11/30/19 -12/15/19. Full payment must be received at the time of booking.  Pay in full promotions ends at Midnight EST on 12/15/2019. 

You may pay in full at the time of booking. No additional payments will be needed, unless you later modify your reservation by upgrading/changing your stateroom or by adding additional stateroom guests. 

MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN

  • $200 deposit per person- for Interior, Oceanview and Balcony, and $500 for suites.

  • $400 is due for single occupancy Interior, Oceanview, and Balcony staterooms and $1000 for suites.

Your remaining stateroom balance will be split into equal monthly payments beginning the first of the month after your initial deposit is paid, with the final balance due no later than July 1, 2021.

Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on file on the first of each month. It is your responsibility to know your due dates; payment reminders will not be sent. If you need to make any changes to your payment plan dates, or credit card, please contact us at 877-405-4277 or email salsacruise@gmail.com prior to the first of each month. 

DEPOSIT + 50/50 PLAN

Through April 3, 2021:

  • $200 deposit per person- for Interior, Oceanview, and Balcony and  $500 per person for suites is due at the time of booking for all cabins.  

  • $400 is due for single occupancy Interior, Oceanview, and Balcony staterooms and $1000 for suites.

June 22, 2021:

50% of your remaining stateroom balance is due

Beginning June 22, 2021, 50% of the total stateroom balance is due for all new reservations.

June 22, 2021:

The full remaining stateroom balance is due from all guests with prior reservations.

All new guest reservations made after June 22, 2021

New reservations booked after June 22, 2021, will require full payment. Payment plans may be available. Please call us at 877-405-4277 or email salsacruise@gmail.com to discuss.

All stateroom reservations made within 30 days from the departure date (September 25, 2021) must be paid in full at the time of the reservation. We are unable to offer payment plans within 30 days of sailing.

Late Payments & Declined Credit Card Fees

A late fee of $50.00 per person for a monthly payment plan or $50.00 per person (for 50/50 plan) will be added to your reservation if your credit card on file is declined and your payment is not received by your due dates listed on your invoice. Your reservation will be canceled without refund if you miss 3 or more consecutive payments, or if your reservation is still unpaid one (1) week after our final payment (whichever comes first).

NAME & STATEROOM CHANGE FEES

The guest who places a reservation for a stateroom on board the Salsa Cruise will be considered that stateroom’s “Lead Guest” and is the “owner” of the reservation. The Lead Guest is therefore solely responsible for initiating or authorizing changes to the reservation, and must agree in writing to any changes made to the reservation, by emailing salsacruise@gmail.com

Name Changes

All guest NAME changes can be made up until 30 days prior to sailing (if allowed by the cruise line), and will be assessed the following administrative fees per name change:

$50.00 per person, per change for name changes through final payment date of June 22, 2021

$100.00 per person, per change for name changes through 30 days before sailing: September 25, 2021

$200.00 per person, per change for name changes within 30 days of sailing.

The Lead Guest is not allowed to change their name within the reservation. At least one “original” and/or lead guest name must remain on the reservation. If all original guests cancel, this is considered a full cancellation without refund, and name changes will not be allowed. An original name is one that has been added to your reservation at the time of your initial deposit or payment.

In all cases of name changes, the NEW guest must make full payment. Once that payment has been made, then the applicable amounts paid by the ORIGINAL guest will be refunded directly to the original guest, less the cost of the name change fee.

Stateroom Changes

All guest STATEROOM changes can be made up until 30 days prior to sailing (if allowed by the cruise line), and will be assessed the following administrative fees per name change:

$100.00 per person, per change for name changes through 30 days before sailing: September 25, 2021.

$200.00 per person, per change for name changes within 30 days of sailing.

Your stateroom number is subject to change without notice at the discretion of the cruise line. No changes of any kind (name or cabin) will be accepted within two weeks of sailing.

Stateroom Occupancy Changes

Rates are based on the number of guests in your stateroom. Changes in occupancy will result in a rate increase or decrease depending on the type of change.  

2021 SALSA CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICIES

ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! There are NO exceptions to our cancellation policies. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance!

Canceling your Salsa Cruise

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Please email salsacruise@gmail.com to cancel your reservations.

Dance, Explore, Relax, and Salsa Cruise cancellation and payment policies supersede that of the MSC Cruise Lines, and any of the Cruise Lines staff information or website payment or cancellation terms are invalid.

TRAVEL GUARD TRAVEL INSURANCE

Because of the nature and uniqueness of this event, we have strict cancellation policies. Salsa Cruise and Dance, Explore, Relax, highly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to protect you against financial loss due to non-refundable costs and fees due to unexpected cancellations and travel emergencies.

Travel insurance also protects you against emergencies while traveling, such as trip interruption, trip delay, missed/canceled flights, lost or stolen baggage/personal items, illness/injury, and much more. Salsa Cruise, Dance, Explore, Relax, and Travel Guard also offer an additional Cancel for Any Reason policy that must be purchased with your initial payment or deposit. If you have to cancel for a non-covered reason, the Cancel for Any Reason option will reimburse you 50% of your non-refundable costs (covered reasons will receive a 100% refund).

In the event of cancellation, you must first contact Salsa Cruise in writing by sending an email to salsacruise@gmail.com. Then, you must contact Travel Guard directly to submit a claim and request a refund.

Travel Guard Insurance is available to United States Residents only. If you reside in another country, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance from a local insurance company or travel agency.

SPECIAL REQUESTS & CELEBRATIONS

Dietary & Medical Restrictions

Special dietary and/or medical requests must be submitted to the cruise line at least 30 days prior to sailing. If you have a special need, please email salsacruise@gmail.com. We will notify MSC for you, and you will be contacted by a cruise line representative within 30 days of sailing for further information and assistance.

Bedding Requests

All staterooms come with 2 twin beds that convert to 1 queen bed. If the beds are not set up the way you want them to be, please ask your stateroom steward to change it for you. If you cannot find your stateroom steward on the first day on board, you can leave a note for them in your stateroom. They will accommodate your request. Salsa Cruise does not take requests for bedding type.

ROOMMATE WAITLIST

If you’ve asked us to assign a roommate for you, your stateroom number and roommate’s name will be confirmed within two weeks prior to sailing. Your stateroom number is not confirmed and may be changed without notice. If you change your mind and find your own roommate, please notify us as soon as possible so we can remove your name from the Roommate Waitlist.

ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY

The MSC Cruise Line does not allow illegal drugs of ANY KIND to be brought on board the vessel. Passengers who are found with such illegal substances will not be allowed to board or will be disembarked at the next port of call. The MSC Cruise Line does not permit nudity in any of the vessel’s public venues and enforces its Freestyle Dress Code. Audio equipment used for personal entertainment may be brought on board but cannot be played at levels disruptive to other guests. Violation of this policy will result in the confiscation of the equipment.

THE MSC CRUISE LINE SMOKING POLICY

Smoking and Designated Areas

Smoking is not permitted inside any guest stateroom.

Clearly marked “Designated Smoking Areas” are available onboard and include a sufficient number of ashtrays that are emptied regularly. Generally, these areas include cigar lounges, a section of the nightclub and casino, as well as a portion of the open decks. As a safety precaution, passengers are reminded to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco, which are never to be thrown overboard as this may be sucked back into the ship and cause fires.

 The MSC Cruise line asks that all guests please observe the non-smoking areas and to refrain from smoking cigarettes, pipes or cigars in any of the non-designated areas.  These requests are made to provide a comfortable shipboard environment for everyone.
