The success of Grupo Niche is based on their commitment to Salsa Music Traditions, Romantic Ballads, and a truly amazing stage show. Their talent has gained them great popularity throughout Latin America and the U.S. and their tribute hit single to the “world salsa capital” catapulted Niche as one of the top salsa bands of Colombia. Grupo Niche is referred to as The Salsa Experience with its vigorous, up-tempo dance music as well as slower-paced romantic numbers. Their show features their most famous song Cali Pachanguero and many other hits like Cali Aji, Del Puente Pa’llá, Sin Sentimientos, and Una Aventura. This high-energy live performance not only receives rave reviews and enjoys huge concert attendance, but every single show gets their audiences cheering, dancing, and giving long standing ovations.
Cuban born salsero Rey Ruiz has been in the United States since 1992 and has been hailed as the "Elvis of Salsa," by Miami music critics. He got his start after Sony Tropical heard his demo and signed him. Later in 1992, he released his eponymous debut album. With a style reminiscent of the mambo singers of the 1950s, Ruiz soon found himself a star when his first album went platinum. He next participated on the Los Soneros de Hoy project, a tribute to the originators of salsa music in the '60s and '70s. On that album, he sang "Compone un Son." His second album Mi Media Mitad also proved to be a hot seller; other releases included 1995's En Cuerpo Y Alma, 1997's Exitos del Rey and 2000's Fenonmenal.
Sara Contreras, a top female comedian, actor, and writer since 1995—and one of Showtime’s 2008 ALMA-nominated (Best Comedy Special) Original Latin Divas of Comedy—continues to be a comedic showstopper at premiere comedy clubs and venues across the country.
She was Head Writer for Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s Colors of Rhina and has appeared as a commentator and writer for MTV3. Sara received an impressive N.Y. Times review for her work as a writer/monologist in the off-Broadway production Jose Can Speak in 2005. Her first screenplay Searching for Sosie is under consideration as a 6-part television mini-series, and her highly regarded one-woman show Lifelines was part of the NYC ONE Festival in 2012. She was also a creator and writer for Lugar Heights, a Latino animated series featured on Galavision.
Born and raised in the great city of New York, DJ Giovanni held one of the most prestigious residencies in NYC at the iconic Webster Hall. From his South America and Caribbean tours, Giovanni has become an inspiration to many people around the world.
Chino is an accomplished percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, recording artist, bandleader, and educator, multiple Grammy, Latin Grammy, and Billboard winner/nominee, he has performed/toured with a verifiable Who’s Who in the world of Latin music, as well as with his own critically acclaimed ensemble the Chino Nunez Orchestra.
His diverse recording and performing experience include work with legendary figures Tito Puente, Hector Lavoe, Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Marc Anthony, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Ray Barretto, Willie Colon, Ruben Blades, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Larry Harlow, Tito Nieves, Spanish Harlem Orchestra and a host of others. Chino has performed in venues all over the world including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival to name just a few.
GioBeta is a Colombian singer who belongs to the Betancourt dynasty, a well-known family of musicians since the 1970s.
He lives in Miami, Florida and for many years, has been part of the band of some of the best known artists and influential people in the salsa industry, such as Oscar de León, Ismael Miranda, José Alberto el Canario, Tito Nieves, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Jerry Rivera, to name a few.
In 2013, he gained international recognition after being the winner of the UNIVISION TV reality show "Idolos de la Cancion" (Idols of the Song), in which thousands of people participated. This led to a tour in the United States and in some Latin American countries.
In 2014, he was included, in the Mario Ortiz production called "50th Anniversary of Mario Ortiz All Star Band". This album was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Salsa Album category, and competed in the same category with Victor Manuelle, Ismael Miranda, Gilberto Santa Rosa, El Canario, Andy Montañez, Ray de La Paz, etc.
In 2017, he was invited as a special guest to Tito Rodríguez's newest musical production alongside Gilberto Santa Rosa and other important artists, earning international recognition in the salsa industry.
In 2018, he participated in a production recorded in Puerto Rico called “Don Goro para el Mundo Latino” together with highly recognized artists from the genre such as Herman Oliveras, Riko Walker, Luis Perico Ortiz, Oscar Hernández, and Tito Rivera among others.
In 2019, after the success of the “50th Anniversary of Mario Ortiz,” Gio was invited to participate in the “55th Anniversary of Mario Ortiz,” which was also nominated for Best Salsa Album at the Latin Grammys. Included in this production were the most recognized artists in this genre: Willie Rosario, Roberto Roena, Don Perignon, Andy Montañez, Víctor Manuel, Tito Nieves, and Gilberto Santa Rosa among others.
Due to the success of his show "A Tribute to Marc Anthony", Giovanni Betancourt is also currently offering his new show "History of Salsa Music", which is a show where people can enjoy the music of the most influential decades and Artists of the genre, from its origins in Africa to contemporary salsa music.

Miguel has more than 20 years of professional experience teaching salsa. He has his certification from the National Dance Teachers Association (NDTA®) in International Latin & Americana. Miguel began as a special event choreographer with over 150 weddings and cotillions to date with the company he began in 2000 Primo Productions.
